In 2003, we opened a little store called Natural Lullabies in Tulsa, OK. The vision of a local mother was to support, educate and empower local families about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and motherhood. Now, 8 years later, 2 stores later and 3 children later, this vision is being reborn into a Virtual Birth Center. Using the many resources and dedicated birth professionals that exist in Tulsa to continue supporting families is our new goal. Natural Lullabies envisions a community of like-minded birth professionals who continue dedicating themselves to empowering families about their birthing options. Although much has changed during the last 9 years, one thing has not... we believe in women, in birth and our voice must still be heard.

We are now a collection of birth professionals including midwives, doulas, childbirth educators and more who whole-heartedly are dedicated and passionate about birth. We have collectively brought together our vision to share with you.

OUR COLLECTIVE VISION

We are a community of supportive professionals providing holistic services to pregnant & birthing families while recognizing and honoring diversity.  Midwives, doulas, medical professionals, childbirth educators and many others are gathering together in this group to create ongoing change in Tulsa’s birth community, striving for more awareness of pregnancy and birth options.  Professionals in this group are willing to honor all of the many ways to arrive at healthy birth and babies while recognizing the need for ongoing education, awareness and objectiveness for the families walking through this transitional time.  Our goal is aligned with empowering and educating families of their choices in an unbiased, objective manner while simultaneously offering unconditional support for those choices.  We are a collection of dedicated professionals who make up the community aspect of a birth center offering a variety of WAYS to bring babies into this world. 

We collectively believe in women and their ability to give birth, encouraging her to trust herself, her body and her baby.  With a common goal of family centered care and a variety of skilled, cooperative professionals who are supportive of evidence based care, informed decisions and respect for families.    The professionals in this group are uniting together as ambassadors for birth in the Tulsa area, remembering this sacred journey is an opportunity to remember intuitive wisdom and a time for welcoming a new human being to the families bringing them to our community.

INTRODUCING OUR NEW MAGAZINE ALL ABOUT PREGNANCY - CHILDBIRTH - PARENTING IN TULSA!

In 2012, we are releasing our first ever printed Natural Lullabies magazine called EPIC. This will be distributed through our Natural Lullabies professional members and in several locations around Tulsa.
