You may have noticed that we have not put up any new classes for Diaper Yoga or Baby Sign Language. We were quite disappointed after our extreme slow dow in attendance in August/September that we have not put new classes on the schedule. However, many of you have inquired about these classes. We would love to have the classes if there was enough attendance. So, we are asking that if you are interested in attending the classes, please let us know by sending an email to MELISSA@NATURALLULLABIES.COM or calling 918-488-9969. Please let us know some days/times that would work with your schedule when you contact us. If we can get at least 5 people who are interested, we will add these back to our schedule in February. Please contact us no later than January 20th so we can make arrangements with an instructor.

If you are thinking of breastfeeding, we recommend taking our "Preparing to Breastfeed" Class with Lactation Consultant Deen Licht. Deena is a mother of five and has been teaching Breastfeeding Classes for years including at local hospitals. She is also studying to become a midwife and is a Registered Nurse.

A few of us are interested in looking at some alternative methods of schooling for our beautiful children. After researching many of the schools in the Tulsa area, several ladies have decided it is time to explore the possibility of creating exactly what we want. So, we are putting together a alternative schooling brainstorming session at Natural Lullabies.

The mission of the proposed school will be to incorporate the following:

• Imaginary play as a part of the learning
• No standardized testing, grading or traditional home work
• Multi-Age Classrooms
• Cultivating an environment where children's body, mind and spirit are treasured
• Learning is child-led
• Parents are a large part of the learning process and school environment
• Where art, music and movement are incorporated into the daily curriculum
• Where the spirit & soul of the child is honored and respected

This prospective school will not be affiliated with any religion but will indeed focus on the spirit of the child. If you are interested in attending, we are having an Open Discussion Forum to any families.
