The buzz of school is back again.  It’s an exciting time for families when the children head back to school.  I know my family is excited to start up a new year and a little sad to see summer go by so quickly.  Natural Lullabies has had a wonderful summer and we are thrilled about the growing number of families we continue to meet each and every week.  After nearly 5 years of serving Tulsa families, we couldn’t be happier for the opportunities we have had.  It still amazes me to this day the amount of people who tell me about their wonderful experiences at Natural Lullabies.  What a blessing each of you are!!

Like every business, we are continually trying to find ways to improve and grow.  Due to the ongoing time constraints of both Natural Lullabies and my growing family, I have decided to shift the focus of our efforts specifically to our classes and services.  Although, we will continue to carry some of our favorite products (like slings, a few diapers and breastfeeding products), we will now only be opening the boutique during class times.  We are working on revamping a few classes, adding some more and making all of our classes the best we can offer.  I hope that this shift of our energy and focus allows us to grow in the area we love – classes, support & services.  We are working on a few more ideas and hope to be announcing those soon.

Calling all babies & toddlers 3 months – 36 months!  We are excited about now offering some new Mama & Me Activity Classes at Natural Lullabies.  We’re taking a unique approach to activity classes by combining some fun themes for mama and child to enjoy different activities together. We have 3 types of activity classes to choose from including: art, sign language and yoga.  All of our classes will include the following:

• Story time
• Songs & Music
• Interactive Games
• Playtime!

In the midst of a very busy world, we sometimes forget to sit down and play with our little ones.  Our Mama & Me Activity classes will give you an opportunity to do just that!  Engage, play and enjoy one another while you have opportunities for social interaction for mamas and children.  Although our classes follow a structure, we also are very aware of how important it is to be flexible.  We know that learning is innate in children and it doesn’t have to be forced.  Through exploration in their own time, children naturally explore and learn about the environment around them.

Class Choices:

• Baby & Me Art (3 - 18 months) - Thursdays 2:00 pm
• Toddler & Me Art (18 - 36 months) - Thursdays 1:00 pm
• Baby & Me Sign Language (3 - 18 months) - Fridays 2:00 pm
• Toddler & Me Sign Langauge (18 - 36 months) - Fridays 1:00 pm
• Diaper Yoga (3 - 18 months) - Fridays 10:30 am
• Toddler Yoga (18 - 36 months) - Fridays 11:30 am

We know how much everyone likes free and it doesn’t seem like much is free these days.  Did you know we have weekly events that are free!  Here they are – come if you can!

We need some volunteers who would be willing to help in our playroom during Mama & Me Yoga classes.  Volunteers will help entertain the kiddo’s while Mama’s have the opportunity to enjoy yoga class.

We’re offering FREE CLASSES for all volunteers.  For every 1 hour you volunteer you will receive 1 free class to use towards: Prenatal Yoga, Mommy & Me Yoga; or any one of our Mama & Me Activity Classes (Sign Language, Art or Yoga).  If you’re interested, contact Melissa by email or call her @ 381-0828.  Volunteers are needed for Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10:30 – 11:30 am.
