Our unique approach to yoga has gone one step further to combine the benefits of yoga with our class discussions and prenatal relaxation. Classes will also include an extended relaxation period, which is shown to be extremely beneficial during pregnancy and in preparation for childbirth.
Classes will be 70 minutes long, including approximately 45 minutes of yoga and the remaining time spent on relaxation and discussions.
This program is uniquely designed by Melissa Morrill, who has taken the tremendous benefits of yoga and the importance of education and preparation to develop our unique Prenatal Yoga Classes. Our classes will not only provide the physical benefits of stretching and strengthening the pregnant body for birth, but will prepare the pregnant mind for labor, birth and motherhood. We will explore your weaknesses and focus on your strengths, realizing that these are vital to understanding how we birth our babies.
