Prenatal Yoga

Movement, breath, relaxation and community... who can ask for more in pregnancy? That is why we have been teaching prenatal yoga classes since 2005 in Tulsa, OK. Hundreds of pregnant women have walked through our doors to enjoy a peaceful journey into their bodies using the ancient modality of yoga. Melissa and Celeste have been working side by side to continue to offer these classes to our community of pregnant women because they know how important this can be in preparing for birth and motherhood.

GROUP PRENATAL YOGA CLASSES
Our unique approach to prenatal yoga has gone one step further to combine the benefits of yoga with our class discussions and prenatal relaxation. Classes will also include an extended relaxation period, which is shown to be extremely beneficial during pregnancy and in preparation for childbirth. Classes will be 60-65 minutes long, including approximately 45 minutes of yoga and the remaining time spent on relaxation and discussions. We have taken the tremendous benefits of yoga and the importance of education and preparation to develop our Prenatal Yoga Classes. Our classes will not only provide the physical benefits of stretching and strengthening the pregnant body for birth, but will prepare the pregnant mind for labor, birth and motherhood. We will explore your weaknesses and focus on your strengths, realizing that these are vital to understanding how we birth our babies.

Come and try a class, there is no registration necessary. For your first class, try to arrive 10 minutes early so you can fill out your registration form. Payments will be accepted at the class or online. Drop-ins are welcome at any time! Bring a yoga mat or use one of the studios and don't forget some water! DROP INS WELCOME! No pre-registration is necessary.

PRIVATE PRENATAL YOGA CLASSESPrenatal Yoga - Tulsa, OK
In September 2011, Melissa decided it was time to offer another way to connect pregnancy and yoga together by offering private one-on-one yoga sessions for pregnant women. Her idea is to share an intimate setting through yoga, meditaiton and heart-to-heart discussions in preparation for the journey of birth. This coincides with Melissa's newest endeavor of life coaching and bringing yoga into the sessions. She hopes to offer her clients the ability to speak from their hearts about their fears, concerns, joys and celebrations of pregnancy while also connecting women back to their bodies using yoga. Each session is unique the individual needs of the client and can last any where from 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours in length. All sessions are held at Isis Ranch, Melissa's home and private yoga studio located on a private 5 acre oasis in Jenks, OK.
